War maybe bad but occasionally it is justified. This is similar to killing is bad but there are cases when it is justified.
For example, it would have been better if a solution could have been found that did not cause the either the Revolutionary or Civil wars, but under the circumstances, they were justified. Likewise, killing some one in self defense or defense of another, or execution to keep a murder from murdering again all are justified.

This harkens back to The Dude's question asking (essentially) if there are no atheists in foxholes, doesn't that just show that the Christians are the warmongers?

Do you think praying for the Nazis would have worked. Or if you denied God enough times that they would just go away?
You know, standing in a fox hole just doesn't work. There is such things as tactics in war. Sometimes you have to defend.
