Good luck getting an islamic perspection of incest. The factors in any perspective comes down to a perversion of humans own sexual nature. But in almost all cases there is a cycle of abuse that leds to it. Where it starts and how it starts is most likely a much more individual thing but the abuse startes and it takes one heck of a strong individual to grow away from it. Where it fits into any religious ideal is aways seen as a sin or transgression that should be avioded. Your not going to get a perspection on it based on any religion that doesn't see it simple that way.

I agree with a lot of the above post, but would like to add that incest is possible with out the sexual perversion if the two members involved didn't grow up together.
The view of your family members as just family mostly develops while people are growing up in the same household.
Albeit it's still wrong.
