what could be causing that and what can I do???

ALLERGY...
Gas all of the time signals an allergy. Could be to milk or almost anything. They would benefit from allergen testing and nutrition consulting related to the replacement of any offending foods.
If it is milk that causes the problem something needs to give the necessary calcium in the diet that is essential for growing children.

gas is a natural part of digestion. epically if they eat a health diet. society thinks that this is a disgusting thing, but its' natural. instead of trying to keep them from passing gas, you should help them understand that it's not polite to make a big fuss over it in public, and come up with ideas to do it discreetly if they have to.

Their diet.
Determine what you have been feeding them and start eliminating those items from the diet. Also, if your kids eat a lot of yogurt, check to see if the yogurt contains live or dead micro-organisms.

Dont give them any fizzy drinks and when they do start passing wind run for cover or lock 'em in a spare room lol lol Sorry

Possible lactose intolerance and/or IBS (Irritable bowl syn). Take them for a check up, but I would place my bets on lactose intolerance. There is milk available that is lactose free, try it and see if it works.
