I know diet and excersize play a big role but here's the thing. I have jumped four pant sizes in the last year. I have always een a small person so my mom says I am getting the "womanly figure" and theres nothing I can do about it. I have a six and seven year old and even after having them my weight hasn't been an issue. I don't have a big belly or anything but when I put my jeans on I wore a few months ago I can't even pull them together to button them. What is going on? Help!?!

Do not stop eating or going on diets. Try this and see what results you get. Often the body has hunger pangs which you think is a stomach wanting food but which actually may be just a want for H2O. Start drinking more water and see if you stop eating so much food. Of course exercise and having something to do throughout the day helps. I work in the summer but not the winter. During the summer I drop pounds because I am away from the fridge, so during the winter the refrigerator is handy and so is food. In your case limit food to 3 meals a day and then consider the fact that most of us eat more than we really need to so cut back on portion sizes and plan ahead so you are not cooking more than you need for the portions you are going to be eating. Weight is a problem with 89% of society so do not think you are alone on this issue. Plan it out and the results however small at first will come. Ps. Keep some of those old pants just to check yourself periodically to see how you are doing and remember the results are not going to be immediate so do not give up, go have a glass of water, oh and you might want to mix it up a little try the odd water with a slice of lemon, tomato juice is good, keep varing it but stay away from cold drinks of coke and pepsi etc. they contain sugar which translates into pounds and another pant size. Good luck.

after having my kids i struggled until I got put onto herbalife, it has been great for me. if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I would suggest you use a diet that is all natural and is rich in protein and vitamins. I used a protein based diet with Herbalife after a friend who had lost weight recommended it to me. All the way through you feel great and energized, you also get great coaching and support along the way. The people are very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. The samples were the thing that initially convinced me that this was the right path to choose. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight. You also a get e free complete health consultation with the samples, I think I just paid the postage, but for what I got it was well worth it.
I lost all my weight in less than four months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them. The owners will advise you on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in less than five months. The website is www.myhealthabc.com. You just leave your details and they call you up, I would suggest that if you aren’t sure or don’t want someone to ring you then go to their main site www.myhealthabcmall.com and you can see all the products and packages. This is what I did before I went to the first site and left my details so they could contact me. You can see with all the products and detail they have, so you know that they mean business. Its nice to have contact with real people who care about you losing weight and improving your health. I know that I will continue to keep the weight off with the help I have received. I hope this helps.

Have you looked at your diet? If it mainly consists of sugary or fatty food, that's the culprit. Do you exercise at all? This could also be the cause.

Not too many people just gain weight for no reason. I suspect that your eating and exercise habits may have something to do with it.

As for losing weight, try to eat about 1800 calories a day and go for a 30-45 minute walk 6 days a week. The pounds will come off if you stick to it.

You could have a thyroid condition, which are more common in women than men. A simple blood test would be able to tell your doctor if anything's wrong in that department. Make an appointment with your general practitioner and explain what's going on with your body. Thyroid conditions are not horribly serious, and can usually be controlled with medications and diet changes.

Also, be prepared to answer questions about changes in your lifestyle, which could also contribute to your weight gain. Have you been unusually stressed? Have you been eating foods with more calories than usual? More processed foods than usual? Little changes in your life can lead to weight gain.

However, if you doctor finds nothing wrong, then start to watch what you eat and excercise. It could just be that your metabolism is slowing down, which is happens as we get older. It also means you really need to start examining what you eat and how you take care of your body. If this is the case, just embrace your new curves, and be healthy :)

As you age, your metabolism slows down. Also, you may be overeating and not realize it. Some people gradually begin to overeat, so watch your portions. Try fixing your dinner plate on a smaller plate. Since it can't hold as much, you won't be as inclined to eat too much. Also be mindful of the types of foods you're eating. You might want to have a cheeseburger with the kids, but you really have to make the better decision. If you eat healthy, your children will pick up the habits, so start now because early eating habits in children are a key factor in their health throughout life. Best of luck to you!

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurites come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do!
