I was previously an introvert so the dating seen is kind of new to me. When we hangout there's a lot of akward silence and I feel Im slowly pushing her away. It's so irritably depressing. I don't wanna lose her. She's always telling me I should talk more but Im at a loss for words.

Try asking open questions to keep a conversation going. It's a key sales technique.
By asking "what have you done today" or "tell me about your day" instead of "did you have a good day" the conversation will flow more. Try avoiding questions that can be answered with a yes or a no as that makes a short snappy conversation.
Also ask her questions about herself. She'll think you're interested in her. You'll then seem more genuine and caring, and girls tend to like that. Also it means the onus is on her to talk more as well - dating is a two way thing after all!

Tongued tied=$. Yeah that silence is very awkward. Ask her how her day went, try telling a couple of jokes to break the *** (clean jokes plz). Talk about a movie both you might have seen and other conversation will start to kick in.

One thing I want to say is that its ok to have some silence......comfortable silence. I truely believe that tells you alot about a person that you can just be with, without words and still have a connection, fee; me? But as for the conversation, talk to her about things she is interested in....music, movies, poetry, etc. Ask her things like, where she saw herself in 5 years? If she could be anywhere in the world, where? Just find something that she likes to talk about and go for it. One thing women love, is that a man is truley interested in whats in their head, not their pants..... Good Luck!! Peace

I used to be sooooo terribly shy! I don't know how I got over it but I sure did in a big way! Anyhoo, just ask her questions about her hobbies, music, things like that. That will show your interest and open conversation. Just relax and enjoy her company...the rest will come.

be open thats all you can do... what would you lose if you opened up more to her... talk about your past, childhood memories, and maybe present situations this would give you a good conversations for her im pretty sure you would have a good relationship...
Always remember "communication is the key to a long relationship"... i dont remember where i got this but as it implies you should talk...

start with her day. be interested.
talk about her. if she studies, talk about that. go on the net and do some research - find out what she actually does!
same applies for if she works
what is she interested in? i know clothes and makeup is boring, but theoretically she will swing the conversation to what your interested in sometimes.
