I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.

It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.

Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.

Good LUCK!

Well if your trying to lose weight and you're 16 it's real simple because you're younger. All you really need to do is not eat alot of junk. If you need to then fine have like a small Sunday every Friday or something but only a small one and only every Friday. Then eat healthy foods when you eat don;t eat alot so like just have a plate of whatever you're going to eat and then eat it slow so you get full quicker and then don't order or serve your self so much food. Then you should take vitamins trust me they work if you take them every day. Go running or something for at least an hour every day and keep with the routine daily cuz once you mess it up there you go gaining all that weight again. U just really need to be self-disciplined and really want it bad that way you have the motivation to keep going. Just think of it as losing several pant sizes if you stay with it and if not losing then not getting bigger

You don't have to go out & buy all kinds of expensive foods, just make better choices. Substitute good foods for the stuff you're used to.

Choose these types of foods when you eat:
Vegetables, grains, fish, poultry, fruits
& drink lots of water, green tea, oolong tea.
Leave out anything fried (fried food is terrible for you), & don't eat alot of pasta or white bread, or anything doughy. Too many carbs aren't good. Too much red meat isn't good either. Don't drink soda. (sugar turns into fat if you don't burn it)
When you go out to eat, always look for something that's broiled, baked or grilled, & whatever dish has the most veggies in it. & eat rice instead of pasta.
Try to stay away from fast food...it's terrible for you. If you have to grab something quick from McD's or wherever choose a salad with chicken. (& remember too that the dressing they serve is very fattening, so only use enough to flavor your salad...don't drown it.)
Don't be afraid to try new things.
Besides eating healthier you should make sure you are getting at least a little excercise each day. Just taking a walk every day would be good.

That's how I do it & it's been working for me.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

No credit cards? Just start running. Don't just run a mile etc. Start RUNNING. Aim for 3 to 5 miles at least 5 times a week. Avoid sugars and bad carbohydrates. You can easily find advice as to what foods are considered healthy just by searching the web. You don't need to spend money to lose weight. As to eating healthy AND losing weight, they go hand in hand. If you eat healthy, AND excercise, you'll lose weight. Period.

How about trying a vegetarian diet for a while? I've been eating a low-sodium vegan diet for health reasons for several months, and have lost a lot of weight. I also exercise every day, and sometimes I wish I had a buddy to walk with. Take advantage of that with your friend if you can!

Good luck!
