Wow, this one is easy, and I'm glad, because it's really early;
God doesn't lie for one simple reason:

He doesn't have to. If he says something that someone doesn't like, what the hell are they gonna do? There's nothing they can do;

Think about all of the reasons that a person would need to lie - none of them have any bearing on God whatsoever.
