Oh boy! Not one single person could prove that the Tooth Fairy doesn't exist. I am totally conflicted now.
By the way, if permanent teeth evolved from baby teeth, how come we still get baby teeth?

No, the tooth fairy is something made up. For those who have faith, God is very real. Actually, God is real whether you believe in him or not. And it is only when you have a real relationship with God and connect with others who believe that you see Him at work. If you don't believe, there is nothing I can say that will change it. Yet God promises that if you seek Him, you will find Him.

I've got news for all you unfaithful non-believers that don't believe in the tooth fairy! I had my teeth knocked out the other day by a God-fearing Christian who was a little annoyed that I didn't believe in the love of God. I put the teeth under my pillow that night and Guess what? I got 50p.
OK, that's not a whole lot of money and I was kind moody about it all morning until someone pointed out that those lovely God-fearing Christians had sent their foot soldiers over to Iraq to nick their oil and .......i can't remember......something about democracy....
...Anyway, he was saying that the Iraqis had had plenty of teeth knocked out in Abu Graib prison whilst being politely quizzed on stuff. So.......the tooth fairy has been spending quite a lot of money out there recently and could only afford to give me 50p.(which was still more than I got from God)
God does in fact exist though. It's just that he gave up on trying to make a decent race out of humans about 2,000 years ago and has moved on in disgust to another planet somewhere.
Tooth Fairy Bless You All.......and Tooth Fairy Bless America!!

No - with God it's all take and the tooth fairy at least gives you something tangible. And ... children have a good reason for believing in fantasy

The result is much the same - except that the tooth fairy usually leaves you some money!

Yes...belief is belief in both cases and 'evidence' in the forms of stuff left behind can be shown (universe vs. silver dollar), but unlike the tooth fairy, you can have a direct experience of God and know God exists.

No.
The belief in the tooth fairy is a simple fabrication.
Belief in God is a complex and emotive issue that will divide opinion.
No one can ever say with any certainty that they are right, though organised religion certainly encourages this, much to the annoyance of those of a more rational mindset.

The main difference is that there are tangible and immediate benefits to believing in the tooth fairy.

How bout this:
Is not believing in God, the same as believing in the tooth fairy?

No. The tooth fairy leaves money under your pillow and god makes you work for it.
