Question about Dinosaur bones?

But isn't the current evolutionary hypothesis that dinosaurs have evolved into modern day birds? If so, God did not create the birds, but rather, the bird's have a common ancestor going to the Paleolithic era . . a dinosaur.

When you say "God did not create the birds..." what exactly do you mean? How exactly do you think God "created" life? Are you referring to ex nihilo creation?

You should realize that many Christians do not believe in this. Many have no problem with evolution, myself included.

This dinosaur to bird hypothesis theory or whatever is not proven.
God created the birds and God created the dinosaurs. They reproduce after their kind. Environment changes them to some extent - where the more adaptable survive. Humans are having trouble breathing in this environment that we have created, but the more adaptable will survive.

show me a bone that shows dino to bird and I'll personally give you $1,000 and Kent Hovind will give you $250,000. His standing has been open to anyone world wide for 10 yrs, still no takers.

dino's didn't become birds, they are modern day reptiles. some simple scientific facts show this.

1. earth long ago had an ice shield. parts of it are still there today and all science agrees we had one.

2. if you encase the earth in a ice shield, for one you lower the UV levels coming in, less damage. Cause water alone stops UV rays (hence why our eyes are backwards to those in the sea). But not only that, you would raise the air pressure in turn raising the oxygen levels. And we know this is fact from science for ice core samples and amber samples tell us the air was more rich of oxygen then, supporting the ice shield.

3. science and a oxygen chamber show us what happens if that is going on. things live longer, are more healthy, stronger, etc. this works on plants, animals and humans. just look at micheal jackson, he sleeps in one.

4. science tells us that reptiles never stop growing their entire life and today, we easily see 60+ ft snakes in the amazon and even others that are as big as 2 ft wide and they are 60-100 yrs old. And fossils show us dinos had horse size nostrils yet 20 times the size. This again backs up the rich oxygen content, otherwise they couldnt' breath.

5. now imagine you live in a oxygen chamber, what happens? everything lives longer, everything gets bigger and those items that never stop growing, get really big....aka dinos.

6. look at the running lizard from the desert, then look at the small dino that ran that was the height of a man....exact same bones, just small to big. no evolving.....just not getting as big anymore cause we lost the ice shield that allowed it all to happen.

7. its why animals don't get big anymore and bones show that many have gotten smaller over time. it explains how teredactles (sp?) could fly, the air was dense enough to allow them to float for their weight, and the list can go on and on.

8. All this science.....backs up the bible.....noahs flood (ice shield melting, dinos prior to ark, on ark and after)

I can get into more and explain layers of the earth and explain how vast pools of oil and coal were formed, but I'll just let you toss some dirt in a jar with some water, shake it and let it settle and let your brain see that for yourself.

well i was watching the discovery channel 4 weeks ago and was watching a hypothecal dinosaur documentry.
they tried making live models of dinosaurs including t-rex etc..
it stated that a kind of dino.. inherits its eye from a crocodial.. dinosaurs have feet like birds , a face similar to a croc, and the structure of the teeth resembles 98% with that of a dino.
so i'd say dinoz are closer to croczz rather than birds. but saying doesnt matter. like monkeys resemble humans.. does it mean that humans transformmed into monkeys? if they did then y do we still have monkeys?

God created many creatures. some species have been detroyed .
species have change their appearance though.. like girraffes.. they grew taller necks..tortoise became hard. etc etc.. but transformation of 1 species to another never took place

There's nothing wrong with evolutionism. Evolution, like all other things, is a part of God's great work.
