sup, im looking to find a salvage nissa 300zx that can be fixed i wud buy a reguler one but i allready have one but its crashed bad so i want to bu a salvage one that can easy fix, now wat im gonna do is probably illegal but im gonna change vin number from mine to the new one. but i want one that doesnt need mechanical work just body or interior

Yeah, that's illegal. You may want to look at Autotrader.com to find what you're looking for.

It is illegal, but the only reason you would get caught is if one of the cars is a theft. Why would you want to change the VIN? If you buy a new car, it should have a title, so just keep the new cars vin, and just change over any good parts from your crash car to the new car. Are you worried about it having a clear title? If you get a salvage title on the new car, you can get it inspected and it will be a clear title. If it were me, I would just fix up the new car with parts from your crash car, and then sell off your crash car for scrap.
