Atheist, why is it possible for you to believe in the possibility of aliens that have never been seen and there is no proof whatsoever of any kind of alien existence, but you cannot fathom the possibility of God?
Christians, If you say that you believe in God how can you say that you do believe in Aliens when God's word is supposed to be accepted as the truth and he makes no mention of creating any other life forms or life anywhere but Earth?
In case anyone wants to know my person beliefs. I do believe that life exists other than on Earth and it is in Heaven and Hell.

Eastchic: the point of the first to questions was not to follow through with a third question, the point was to see if there was a reason to follow through with a third question. And for your info, I have a great life.

There were one or two atheists who did say it is possible. But the main reason for my question is actually for Christians. God's word is God's word. The bible says that anything that is not in accordance with God's word is deception. Where does sin begin, in our thoughts.

Another perspective: yes, I am a very courteous driver. What does that have to do with this question. This is not a question of my morals and decency.

As far as we beleive in something greater than us and that we cannot proof its existence, how can we beleive in anything that s not human if we don t have faith ....
Some beleive in God to have a better quality of life, an objective, a life after death, ....
Some beleive in aliens for the same reasons....
Some beleive in nothing....
God or aliens....???? What is best for us???
There s nothing as a proof of an existant non human force or thing....
I beleive in myself here on earth.... after that..... I ll be somewhere regreting that I haven t beleived in God... our only hope for a after death life....
I wanna beleive in GOD!!! But how can I???? With all this crap around the world.... how can there be a greater force that is fair, when war and hungre are present in our world....

Just because the Bible doesn't mention other forms of life doesn't mean it doesn't exist or he never said it. You think the Bible contains everything that God ever said or thought? The Bible was written by man, and the point it that it isn't sinful to believe that there are aliens or at least believe that they could exist, it is a sin to worship them.
Too may people think religion is a set of rules to follow when it should be a way of life. When you drive do you let people in when you know they want to get over? Do you consider the other drivers when you make a turn? Do you forgive when people cut you off and not curse at them?

1) Sumerians wrote, around 5000 years ago, on clay tablets, about an Alien race called Annunaki who came down to Earth from Planet Nibiru and they gave enough scientific evidences, for you information;)
2) Ancient Sanscrit texts relate about 'Vimanas' = Space/ Aircrafts, giving detailed infos on their features, proving that someone from another world actually brought that advanced technology on our Planet.
3) OOPARTS (Out of Place Artifacts) scattered ALL OVER the World, as well as the Pyramids, the Lines on the Plain of Nazca, the Astronaut of Palenque, the Batteries of Baghdad, the Dogon Tribe from Africa PROVE that such an advanced Alien race actually landed on our planet thousands of years ago.
4) The Bible, the Book of Enoch, the Enuma Elish and many other religious ancient texts talk about 'people fallen from the sky', some called them Angels, some other Annunaki etc etc...yet, THEY ALL talk about the very same people.
So, thinking that we're the only species living in the whole Universe, would be very very silly, other than a clear sign of ignorance;) I'm an Atheist and believe in no God whatsoever;) I just believe in what's actually visible;)

I'm Christian, and I believe there is life on other planets. That is, in my view, a rather idiotic excuse for not believing aliens exist (no offense), 'because it does not mention it in the bible'. Just because it does not mention them in the bible, it does not mean that they do not exist. It doesn't say that aliens do not exist, does it? And there are plenty of things the bible doesn't include, but we all know exist. I mean, I suppose you don't believe in icebergs,or the north pole, or in artists acrylic or oil based paints. It is very arrogant to think that we are the only form of life in the universe.

It must really burn christians that many atheists are not opposed to life on other planets but reject their sky daddy.
That is because it is a VERY big (really, we have no idea how big) universe and if life could happen by chance on this planet, why not on others? We currently know of no other earthlike planet because of the distances involved but they could very well be out there. And life, of course, does not necessarily have to be defined in the carbon-based form that is so ubiquitous here.
The reasons for not believing in the christian god are many and well-documented here.

Because:
1) We already know that life in the universe is possible because we exist.
2) Life exists on earth even in extreme conditions of heat, cold, saltiness, lack of light, lack of oxygen, etc.
3) There are trillions of stars in the universe, presumably with trillions of planets.
We have no reason to believe God exists.

As a Christian there is no where in the Bible that does not say that there is not life somewhere else. As Christians we have to remember we are given the ability to research and find the answers out. If the Lord created the universe maybe he put something out there for us to find. Also as Christians we have to remember the Bible has been changed by man to meet the needs of the time. I am not saying that it is incorrect but things have been left out and changed by man to control people.

So you wasted time asking two separate groups the same question, just so you could ask ANOTHER question and attempt to prove a point? Get a life! And in case you want to know, I don't care about your personal beliefs, it's not relevant.
