.....together overnight side by side that in the moring the liver would be on top of the milk bottle, i remember hearing this story years ago and wondered if anyone knew if there was any truth in it

Yes.!!! We had to do it in chef college. Th liver has to be "live" though, just removed and fresh as possible. It wont "climb" onto a milk bottle but it will wrap itself around the bottle or glass as we used. The liver helps fight infections and clean up youre blood in general and its a gland not really and organ. But with out its bile ducts it craves moisture and will wrap around the glass container.
aia thought it was an urban myth but its not:))

I'm going to do that tonight. Wonder does the milk need to be in a glass bottle as ours comes in plastic cartons. I have semi-skimmed, wonder if it matters?! That's mad !!!
