i really like this guy in my class he sits right next to me and we talk on and off he always smiles at me and makes me laugh but then i told my friend that i liked him and she acciedently told the boy who i likes brother and hes a blabber mouth i told him that i didnt like him so he wouldnt start making fun of me and the guy that i like thinks i dont like him and i still do like him hes still nice to me but he told his brother that he likes a girl madison is he lying about liking madison or do u think he likes me????

you can never tell , the point that he is not pulling the pi$$ out of you is a sure sign that he doesnt want to hurt you .. there is no sure answer to this one.

I think he likes you and respects you as a person, that is why he told his brother he likes another girl. He is not intersested in you at the moment, and he chose a good way to let you know. He does care for you as a person otherwise he would have done it in a more embarrasing, hurtfull way. Dont be sad though. This way you can still continue talking class and being friends with less okward moments. Even if he does like another girl, he might change his mind later on down the road. Even if not, you still got a friend out of it when all is said and down. School relationships are hard. Think of them as practice for when you are dating when you are older. I think that he likes you but you played him by trying to hoe him and saying that you don't like him. So he's not going to tell you that he likes you if he thinks you don't like him since you put on a stupid front. He probably feels embarrassed because you told the boy with the biggest mouth and he told everybody.

May be he is trying to get you telling him directly that you likes him. Thus... telling a diferent story to his brother.
Try to let him know that you do like him and not telling to someone that who can never give you an answer.
Obviously he doesn't hate you, at least he is still nice to you. But he is the only person that can give you a "yes" or "no" answer. No one can help you, sorry!
