Seriously, what are we going to do about human over-population? Stop having children? Euthenize? Not care? How would the gov't deal with this? I'm looking for serious thinkers here please.
The article link below made me think about it.

The government won't deal with it in time. The freedom to have babies is so important to every selfish human that it's rarely even discussed. With the average life span now, if you and your wife replace yourselves at 20, you'll can easily have 8 offspring each before you die. (2 @ 20, 4 @ 40, 8 @ 60, 16 @ r.i.p.) If you all had 1 kid per 2 people, it'd still be expodential growth. Forgive the cliche, but it's kinda the Pope's fault, any every other world leader. They all know. Would we have people worried about oil running out and human caused Global Warming with a million people? No. but then we'd make so very little "prrrrroooggress" in destroying Earth. Oh ya, and hunted by what? ;) Predator real?

I have also thought about this topic. Take a look below at the world population graph. You can see in that there were approximately 4 million people in 10,000 BC. By 1 AD we had about 170 million people, not that huge of an increase of 10,000 years. Over the next 1800 years or so the population quadruples, but then things get interest. The population doubles in only 100 years from 1850-1950, from 1.2 billion to 2.4 billion. Then over the next 50 year from 1950-2000 the population almost triples. With our population escalating so quickly and with nothing to slow it down, we must look into posible solutions to slow the growth artificially.
China, the most populated country on the planet, has already taken steps to slow its population growth. China's government has a goal of one child per family. Although officially the government opposes abortion, there are allegations of forced abortions and sterilizations.
With the AIDS virus rampant in much of Africa (some parts up to around 25% infected), I believe it is likely that there will be a large slowing if not reversal of population growth in that continent.
With some scientists estimating that death by old age will be a thing of the past (for at least some people) by 2050, there's no doubt that unabated our population would skyrocket to devastating ends.
In the US, our solution could be to require a birth approval certificate prior to conception, with severe fines if pregnancy were obtained prior to receiving approval. I'm sure that this would raise hell with all sort of human rights activists, but it may be a necessary evil.

we are hunted already but few people realise it
kissinger stated at a meeting in kopenhagen in 1998 that the bilderberg Agenda demande a cut in the world population of 60%

how they are doing that can only be speculated upon

a global nuclear war would do it .
making people sterile or gay by changing the PH of the water would have a marked effect
and so would incurable diseases
or diseases that needed vacines and the vacines were the killers
stimulated cancer
poiseness consumer goods
all ways to lower popultations
you can be sure ,that many elite have been thinking about this in graet detail for a long time
Prince Philip made a comment that he wanted to come back as a virus ,a very strange remark,

I am 39 and if you go to my 360 blog you will see I don't want children. I have seen so many people have children for all the wrong reasons. The vessel that contained me for nine months only got pregnant to try to save her marriage, and she told me this when I was 21, she also said that all she got were stretch marks. People like that are what makes the over-population so serious. Unfortunately in this country I don't think it will stop. Marie Osmond had 8 children. That is just wrong.

well, the earth can probably support many millions more, but would life really be worth living as we know it now? The chinese had a system, rewards for not having children and penalties for having more than one. I dont know if they are still doing that, the howls of sanctimonious americans were very loud over that "breach of human rights" We should do the same though, no more tax breaks for kids, penalize, if on welfare then they get the five year shot till they are off it. Abortion may be a dirty word among the religious right, but that shouldnt be a factor in politics when it comes down to quality of life. We should promote and educate 3rd world countries against having dozens of kids too.

You might have heard "family planning".

Technically it allows citizen to adopt methods by which birth of a new child is eliminated. It includes abortion which is a forceful femoval of a child (that grows in mothers womb). It is legal in many countries (and usually iit is done in a early stage when child is alive inside a mothers womb)

You may guess emotional side of it.

Now I would like to state a fact that is relavat to you. Before that please kill your emotions!

There is one more way to eliminate over population.

Next generation 'law and rules' to control population will be aimed at elderly people! When an elderly citizen becomes a burden to society, they also could be forced to die! Guess your grandchid come on your bedside and ask you to take a 'pill' that will end your life (and you are helpless but have to consume it)! when said rules will be framed for implementing It is very much relavant to you!

I recommend that you should not support any cruel methods, let it be abortion or killing at old age or any other...

Trust a Chineese method that politically forced citizen to have a single child and now they find it was not a need. Two children are allowed to sustain balance of all age groups who are living!

Please don't worry by foreseeing problems that are mere possibilities. Just look at it and broader facts relating it.

There are natural restrictions to population increase!

Land on earth, ecological pressure on earth at current population level, trends in current population changes at varios parts of earth, and nature of people (I recommend you to understand it realistically) are broader facts that will control population naturally! It is not needed to kill to achieve nonexistent projections!

I think you have realized lighter side of problem you have raised.

You are not at fault. projections are made to confuse peeople.

Be wise! Earth can support 5 times human population than it is now and according to me earth will decide what to do when said population level is nearing!

A humourous side of it is that a 12-digits numbering system is good enough 'to separately identify all living people on earth at any time by concurrently identifying male/female status of each person, age of each individual and nationality of each person.

If you succeed to realize it, I am sure you have understood the facts I have explained hereinabove!

The entire human population on the planet could be housed in Texas with a population density less than that of Paris. There is no over-population.
