Yes, especially for children who do not have the dexterity with their hands to use regular floss. As a adult some older patients have arthritis and can't conventional floss so we recommend the Den-Tek flosser, all the patients love them. You do just as good a job with these type flosser than not using any at all. By the way what the one person told you to rinse and reuse, I would not, they do weaken and fray after one use. So just use and toss once.

As long as it's getting in between your teeth like regular floss, I think you'll be fine.

No. They are a waste of time and money. Learn to properly use conventional floss, and you'll be a lot better off. You'll save money, too.

yes they are i recently visited my dentist and they actually suggested it because the picks are designed to help people who have a hard time getting their fingers far enough in the back of there mouth to reach the molars. Believe it or not she said that they can be rinsed and reused as long as its in the same mouth.
