You can also pick up great cheap meds at Walmart for deworming. It is a general med. How old is your dog? Ever been dewormed and had shots? If you choose to go to the vet, the deworming is not expensive.

It is very simple take him or her to the vet. ANd if at all possilbe take a sample of the worms that our dog has. I know it is gross but it will help the vet. Your dog should be on a regular worming every year. IT don't cost that much and if you love your dog you should do what is right. Good luck!

You need to take a sample of stool to your vet and have your vet properly identify the intestinal parasites then you will be sure you will get the correct dewormer. The over the counter dewormers only take care of a few of the intestinal parasites and if you purchase one of those and your dog does not have those intestinal parasites then you just wasted your money

Take him to the vet to have him checked and treated... this is the only way to successfully de worm him... Also... but him on Heartguard Plus (heart worm preventitve) it also protects your dog against other types of parasites...

You pick up the phone and call the vet. He can look over the dog and decided what type of worms he has and what type of medicine will rid him of them.

CALL YOUR VET!!! There are dewormer products on the market but it doesn't mean they are safe. I almost killed my poor Macavity trying to deworm him myself. The extra $30 for a vet visit is far worth it.
