I need a light weight stroller that is good quality. I have heard about the ZAP and mcleareans, but do not know if they are worth the money. They are expensice but would be worth it if they are truly good. Please help, I do not want to waste money on junk and the one I have now is too heavy for me.

I am as frugal as it gets-
I bought a Maclaren at a consignment store and it may be the best stroller ever. I would never pay the $$ for a new one but since it was used it was affordable and worth every penny. I have 4 kids so I have been through the stroller mill. This one is the only one that has been both lightweight and small and made to last. I have already replaced 4 others. I would also suggest one of the strollers that you can just place the bucket carrier into- but make sure that you will be able to make it last- perhaps find a friend to lend it to you until the baby is out of the carrier. Then invest in a nice stroller that will last till the child is about 4 (when my kids were old enough to walk and not run away).

How heavy is too heavy? Mine weighs about 30 pounds, but it does EVERYTHING. Its a jogging stroller, but the wheel unlocks so it can get around even the smallest spaces, like stores. It takes any brand car seat. The seat it comes with comes out and can turn around, and best of all, it holds and safely supports even a new born, something NO other jogging stroller can do.

The canopy actually covers the whole seat, so baby is out of the sun and wind, the seat has a folding foot rest, which folds clear up for newborns, so they have three sides to rest against. The basket underneith is HUUUGE.

It got EXCELLENT reviews on target.com, all of them were positive. I wouldnt ever get a different stroller, this one just does everything.

You have to buy it from target, online. Its sooooo amazing. I love this stroller. The only complaint I have is that when the seat is in, its about 30 pounds (about 20 something when you take it out, which is easy to do, thats how I take it apart), and it took me a few tries to get used to folding it.
