IT WAS NOT A TICK. I grew up in the mountains, I am VERY familiar with them. I don't know what this thing was.. but it wasn't a tick. anyone I can contact???

I agree with Peachy. Like you, I'm familiar with ticks. But that description matches more with those of bed bugs. Does the hotel management know about this?

i think it was a goober bug. big hairy legs and hard back with furocious teeth and a .38 pistol.
