It is possible for boys and girls to be true friends when they possess genuine respect for each other. True friendship does not mean there is no disagreement and at times hurting each other. These are part and parcel of being friends as no one is perfect. But the most important thing is genuine respect for one another.

Yes, even at Munya's age, some of her best friends are men. That's cuz women are snotty snotty b!tches and a real man can be friends without everything having to relate to s3x.

Of course, the siginificant other in your life might be jealous, but hey, too bad, right?!

absolutely! My best friend for over half my life (since about the fourth grade) is the opposite gender. The relationship has always been comfortable and platonic. Nothing but true friendship. it's awesome!

Yes, most definately! My best friend in school was a guy. He was killed a month after we graduated. After 19 years, I still miss him a lot and always will.

Yeah course, my best mate is a bloke. We have been through so much together and i've known him forever. In fact men are better best friends than girls, they dont fight you for choc, dont ***** about you, try and steal your boyf's and they look after you when your drunk!!!!
