OK, I have a very good friend in Iraq right now. Very Irish, and a huge fan of Guinness. St. Patrick's Day is like a religious holiday for him. A group of us want to send him a care package for St. Patty's. We can't send him a pint of anything, but thought it would be fun to send him beer related items. Other than Beer Nuts, what would you suggest?

Since it's going in a care package Bratwurst is out. How about pretzels.
I served in George SR.'s little adventure in Iraq. He'll appreciate anything you send him. Load the box up with junk food, cigarettes and cigars. Even if he doesn't smoke. They're great stuff to trade with.

I'd see about getting some of the "rope" decoration lights. I've seen these in several types of beer types, including Guinness. I'm sure this will sound weird, but I have also seen Guinness boxers that come in a beer can. Some playing cards maybe, t-shirt.

Beer Can Chicken.... you open a beer, set it inside a whole chicken and then cook the chicken (the chicken should be stood upright in oven). The beer evaporates and penetrates the chicken while cooking for the moistest, best smelling chicken ever. I am not sure how you can ship a cooked chicken to Iraq though.

how about rootbeer? (if you can't send him alcohol or dump out the rootbeer and smuggle in beer in the rootbeer bottles...hmm now you got a plan lol) or poker chips from his favorite brand of beer.
