Kids love fruit. How about a fruit salad for a snack. There are plenty of healthy options at foodnetworktv.com of try Barnes and Nobles (book store). They have this kids cookbook. We use it at work with the kids and they love it. They are always willing to try something new. Please don't send Lunchables with your kids. Those things are packed full of sodium.

young kids love to dip and dunk their food. I make fondues with spagetti, alfredo, or cheese sauce, and give them boiled potato, bread, brocolli, carrots, tortellini, and ravioli to dunk. Apples, pears and grapes are good dunked in peanut butter, thinned with a little milk or juice. Fruit skewers, threaded on wooden picks are great with a yogurt dipping sauce. Cous cous is a nutritious lunch, cooks in minutes, and is tasty (usually found in the rice aisle) Veggies and sprouts rollled up in a lettuce leaf and/or rice wrapper are nice with a soy sauce dip

For lunch you can try… all types of sandwiches (turkey, ham, tuna, etc…), tuna patties, corn w/ fish sticks, soup, mashed potatoes.
Snacks…cut up apples w/ peanut butter, my son likes fruit salad, yogurt, celery and peanutbutter, trail mix (peanuts, cheerios, rasins), cereal, cheese and crackers.
