You may need to expose yourself to similar but less stressful situations as the board and other exams to help desensitize yourself to it.

You can start by meditating and visualizing yourself going in for the boards, being relaxed, calm and confident. Imagine every single aspect of the exam and imagine yourself sailing through it. Continue to do this daily and also expose yourself to those similar situations until you feel completely relaxed and confident.

Sounds like this could also just be a really bad case of the nerves so you can work through the what if's too. What if you take the test and fail? Well, nothing. You'd be inconvenienced because you'd have to take the exam again. That's all. Work through the fear and often you'll see that truly there is nothing to be afraid of.

There are also learning centers where you can go for help. Sylvan, for example, advertises that they help people get ready for SAT's and such. You may call and ask them if they could help you or if they have other suggestions.

I'm not sure what your question is...do you want advice about how to trust yourself more, control your temper, or what to do about your behavior during your board?
