I think anwen55 has a good answer and maybe next time you ask a question you might want to go to the right section, people who know about birds might not know about donkeys

Do a search online and READ everything. Find a local person that breeds and see if they will be willing to teach you what you need to know. Call around and find a livestock vet and see if he/she would be willing to talk with you about it.
