the defendant has been convicted of an offence of harassment contrary to s. 2 of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997 and has had a restraining order imposed on him (under s. 5 of the Act). If the defendant were to breach the order, what should happen to him?

A He should be arrested and, where appropriate, charged and bailed.
BHe should be arrested and taken to court within 24 hours of his arrest.
C He should be reported for summons.
DHe should be reported to the court which imposed the order.

I am going with either A or B. I think it's A more than B though, because breaching the restraining order is another offense and he would be charged accordingly.

The answer is B. In this state (Connecticut) any domestic arrest ( and this would be one) has to be presented the next available court date, which is 24 hours. If arrested on a Friday the arraignment takes place Monday.
