Buy a pack of brightly colored construction paper and put your thinking cap on. [Take those curlers out first!] Love your avatar. Now sit down and write little happy bits of memories on the scraps of paper. Use different scissors on the edges. Get out colored markers ,too ,and decorate the mini-stories. You're going to make a "memory jar" for your mum, with little bits and bobs of your lives together. Some can begin with "remember when"....others might say "thank you for..." maybe even, "i loved it when.... you get the picture. Include some which will make her chuckle and a few that will bring a tender tear to her eye. Hey, trace your hand the same way you did as a child, and tell her thank you for holding it, or whatever. Get cheesy and corny; mums love it. Buy some glitter to sprinkle among the memories. Put them all inside an empty jar and tie with a pretty ribbon. Buy a paint pen and write something sweet on the outside, like "To my Mummy." This shouldn't cost more than a few dollars, and she will know you took the time to consider all she means to you. I would love it! Most mums just want a little of your time, even when you're all grown up, you're still "her" baby.

Make her a nice card with any nice little things that are laying around. Put a nice little message in the card and that will do.
If you are a master of cooking then you could also make her a meal? Something like cottage pie is a good one! My mum really, likes me to make stuff like that because she gets sick and tired of making it for us!
Or you could buy her a bunch of flowers or even pick some if you live near a park. BUT! Make sure that you dont pick them from her garden otherwise the day will end up with a big, big argument!
Anyway, i know what im buying my mum..
Nothing :) Just a big hug a kiss and a card that im making.

Go to a store like bath and body works and get either lotions/candles/soap or some thing along those lines. Then go to your local drug store and get a cute party type bag and put tissue paper inside with it, get a cute card and your all set. You can also add some chocolate just for some thing extra for her. And may be a couple of loose flowers poking out of the top, way cute!!
I don't' know any woman or girl who doesn't just love to get these types of gifts.
Happy shopping for your mum's mother's day gift.

The fact that you'd even 'think' of asking this question, shows me you love your mom dearly! Hugs for you then paintball!!
Not knowing your age or if you get an allowance, how about something like making her breakfast on Mother's Day and with an added touch, give her a card you made yourself! Perhaps include a picture inside the card of the 2 of you together, or one of just you with a poem or expression of how much she means to you. Moms don't expect expensive gifts from their children, they just simply look for acknowledgement. The sweetest gift my son gave me when he was 4, was a brush I had just bought for myself but hadn't used yet. He wrapped it up in newspaper and included a hand drawn picture on a card he'd made himself. To this day I still have that brush and card. He's now going on 22. Your mom will be thrilled with whatever you give her and she'll just love you all the more for it!

If so, you don't need to pay any money at all. Just give her a kiss and say "I love you mum!" and holding her in ya arm and wish her. She is ya mum, she don't need something from you beside of your love for her. She will happy to hear your love and your wish... But it will be better if you buy something that she loves with the lowest price for you. Think of what she likes and what you can do?

A single flower and a card is all that is needed.
If your can't afford the flower, give her a card with a huge hug and kiss.
If there is no money make a card and make supper for the family that night.

you could buy the usual:flowers,chocolates,cd's,dvd's/video's.but why not make your mum a special cake,or chocolates,or make something that she'll use.I bought a wave photo frame, and just by using a glue gun(adult supervision is a must,as you can easily burn yourself),I've glued real gems:amathyst, garnet, ect.or you could glue what ever you want .try the following:mirrors, frames, jewellery boxes.or make a piece of jewellery,go to nearest jewellers and ask for silver hooks, links,or go to your nearest hobby craft and buy silver plated jewellery/jewellery pieces.why not make a handmake card,as this is special, because you've made it.

Something you make her will mean a lot More to her anyway. Perhaps you could make her a really nice card and write a poem to put inside.

It's not how much you spend, but it's the thought that counts. Try some flowers or maybe taking her out for dinner.
