I'm an atheist to all Gods, but weirdly enough I only get accused of "Mocking the Lord" by Christians. And I'm seriously curious how that works in peoples heads.

When somebody starts a religion, which is mainly based on the death of a guy named Jesus, and all the so called miracles this Jesus did were copied from several other religions (Mithras, Dionysus, Horus, etc, etc)..that means Christianity started as one big mockery of several Gods.

So, true question: is it mockery to mock mockery?

Is it mockery to mock mockery? Of course it is. It's mockery to mock anything. But since Christianity is, as you state, a mockery of older religions, they should really just get over it. They're in no position to cast the first stone, so to speak.

Well, Christians don't think they're mocking other gods... they "know" that they're mocking "false gods", because they have the One True Religion™.

Circular logic at its finest going on.

I have no problem about mocking false deities. I am careful however, in doing so because I don't want to isolate people who could be won to life.

When people mock God, I don't get frazzeled anymore, although I use too. In all honestly, I usually feel sad for people thinking, "If only they knew what we knew."

Hope this helps. And I do see what you are talking about.

I have no idea what you are asking.

The two mockerys cancel each other out--no, just kidding. I don't see how we "mock" other religions when ours is real. Let's say for example, a Buddhist must bow down and worship their God. But Christians have an actual relationship with God. He's like your best friend, you can talk freely to him all the time. He saved me from the pits of my despair. He can save you, too! All you have to do is ask, and you don't have to live in fear of Him.

Atheism means the disbelief of God(s). That encompasses all anyway, its just some Christians feel strongly. Everyone expresses themself differently.

Well first of all your question is not true one bit, But if you want to mock my beliefs, go ahead, I had people do it for 37 yrs. It don't bother me one bit. Have your fun & have your day. And see who will be blessed the most.
