How do i tell my mum I'm pregnant?

Ok. I'v been with my boyfriend for over 2 years and i found out yesturday I'm pregnant. His family are really happy about it and so is my sister. Only thing is my mum hates my boyfriend for some reason and as she had me at a young age she didnt want me to end up down the same path. I'm 20 and need some help telling her prefibly with out her chasing me with a kitchen knife! any ideas?
