My guy friend august that i work with he came into work wearing these really tight pants like 80,s jeans. and me and my girl ericka were making fun of him. and he has know erika longer then he has know me. but ericka said something to him i dont know what she said. but august looked at me like he wanted me to do something.

My guess is as his friend he felt as if you should have spoke up on his behalf but not realizing that Ericka is also a friend and he should have been able to handle that comment on his own.
