Don't avoid her. Just tell her you don't want to date her.
If she is a friend tell her you don't want to spoil the friendship.
If she is a work colleague tell her you don't mix business with pleasure.
If you are unlikely to see her again does it matter?
Just tell her you're not interested.

you could say you used to be a woman, i dont know if that will work but guys dont seem to like guys who change in to girls hehe! oh and it adds in the fact that you cant have children if you used to be a girl.... i think!
