When some asks you 'tell me about yourself'

What is your first answer. The interviewer takes that as your most important priority.

If you answer, "I am basically from xyz village", your interviewer takes it that your primarily inclination is towards your village.

If you answer, "I am a person who believes in myself, I am a go getter and will ensure that I complete my mission on time... every time" .... your interviewer is more happy and you should be able to get a better score in your first round.

But don't over do. People may feel you are too self centered & cannot gel well in an organisation.

All the best

Then, tell them. You can use your answers to illustrate your good qualities and to support whatever course of study you want to follow at that university.
For example, I'm the eldest child with five younger brothers and sisters which meant that, from an early age, I took on a great deal of responsibility (looking after the younger siblings) and developed great organizational skills. Coming up with ideas to keep them occupied and harmonious stimulated my creativity and so on. So I'm capable of independent decision-making and have leadership qualities, am very self-directed, creative, work well with others...
This question in a interview gives you the opportunity to "sell" yourself, to let the university know those special talents, gifts and interests you have which aren't apparent in your grade point average or other academic achievements.
Good luck!

Do not want any job so badly,do your best but be yourself.trying to impress them may put you in the wrong place.
Just be yourself and pray that only that thing may happen which helps you as well as your employer.
Its difficult for most to do so,but try.All the best

the best part is that you are the one who knows the best when it comes to saying who you are. Just be natural and tell your strengths that would be of help to the company.
