Well, what's done is done and hopefully no-one was hurt by your actions. As long as you are no longer doing the illegal thing, get on with your life and forget it, worrying about it won't turn back the clock.

If someone else has got the blame for something you did then you have to own up, or you will never be free from this guilt.

Hopefully it was nothing too serious and you can move on with your life.

ahhhh, been there and it is not a nice feeling. For an honest answer, all I can say without obviously knowing the details is....tell someone. It may alter someones opinion of you...but believe me, the relief that you have shared your problem really is a weight of your shoulders. Email me if you want to go into it further, and perhaps I can give you a bit more information on what you could do to eleviate the the guilt you are feeling.

I am sorry you are feeling guilty. To write this you must be suffering. It depends on what you did really, If you can put something right then do it, if not don't beat yourself up if you truly did not know you were breaking the law. Just learn from your mistakes and do not do it again. I do not imagine this was something awful if you did not know at the time it was illegal.

Just put it down to experience and don't do it again. Guilt is completely pointless and by the way, you have little choice but to cope with it.

Don't feel guilty, just learn from your experience and don't do it again. Time wasted on guilt is precious, don't worry - just relax and do something positive to make up for it. Heck, plant a tree or grow something on your window ledge. Watch it grow and feel better.

Stop doing it, learn by your mistake/experience. Talk it over in confidence with a friend or helpline.
