The correct word is when you love, you feel it in your heart. That's it. Not around your heart. You feel it in your heart because love originate from the heart then goes to the mind, and your thinking will to go your tongue and mouth to say I love you.

Love is a chemical reaction in the brain.
but; heart is always connected to it coz when you are in Love your hormones go bizzerk and your heart races filled with adrenaline,so,u feel it around your heart.
the other way to look at it is that heart is an only organ in our body that works without any external commands/stimuli and is continuously at work; so, Our Love for some one should be UNstoppable and should be free from any others viewpoint, just like a beating heart; without which we would die.
God Bless.
