Well, if all the connections are okay, then the TV has a problem, doesn't it? Have you tried unplugging it for a few minutes, then plugging it back in, and restarting it? Sometimes that helps. It probably needs to have an expert to look at it. It might just have a defective power supply feeding the plasma panel or something like that.

Take a shotgun to it! that will solve whatever problem you are having. It will create a whole new problem but that's for your warranty company or your home owners insurance carrier to figure out and replace the existing unit... cause you were "CLEANING YOUR GUN!"

Check what mode it is on ,it could be on video or DVD mode right now.
