To make it more interesting, you should try to get visitors and trips.
You used to be able to get tablets that the children can chew - it makes the plaque stain red and shows which children are not cleaning their teeth!
Ask at the school's local doctor and see if the nurse can come in and talk to the children about first aid.
see if you can do a trip to the local hospital - I know our hospital has visits from schoolchildren of "your" age.
See if you can get a visit from an ambulance - explaining what happens when people dial 999 so children know what to do in an emergency.
Get someone to show them very basic first aid -Red Cross or St. John's Ambulance should be able to help you there.
and get the children to write thank you letters - it also helps with their writing!!!
Good luck!

I once gave a talk to a combined class of 7/8 year olds who were studying the same topic. I'm a naturopath and massage therapist, and the teacher was a client of mine. Basically I let them know how naturopathic philosophy differs from conventional medical philosophy (ie naturopaths identify and treat the cause of ill health with the aim of increasing the body's vitality or own regenerative abilities while educating their client to empower them to create their own health whereas conventional doctors treat symptoms - which in some cases is necessary). They were great! They asked far more intelligent questions than any adults I've given talks to over the years and wrote lots of notes. So maybe finish with a naturopath!

I suppose you could do:
1. People who care for your health, from Doctors down to porters, from Ambulance drivers to First-Aiders.
2. Where the people work, from A&E to on a Mountain-side being collected by heli-copters.
3. Kind of things they have to deal with, from basic colds to horrendous car-crashes.
4. Health on a personal level, the washing of hands and basic health tips and reasoning behind vegetables etc.

Be sure to include in whatever field of the Medical Profession you will be teaching about that one if the BIGGEST criteria is COMPASSION in caring for the Patients. Nurse Practitioners is another topic you could use. I am sure you know what that is. Good luck.

Denominations as we talk are many and numerous. the unique “mainline” denominations have spawned distinctive offshoots at the same time with Assemblies of God, Christian and Missionary Alliance, Nazarenes, Evangelical loose, self sufficient Bible church homes, and others. some denominations emphasize mild doctrinal adjustments, yet extra many times they merely grant distinct kinds of worship to in advantageous condition the differing tastes and options of Christians. yet make no mistake: as believers, we would want to be of one options on the necessities of the religion, yet previous that there is sweet deal of decision in how Christians might want to worship in a company putting. This decision is what motives distinctive distinct “flavors” of Christianity. A Presbyterian church in Uganda may have a form of worship a lot distinct from a Presbyterian church in Colorado, yet their doctrinal stand will be, for the most section, a similar. range is a robust ingredient, yet disunity isn't. If 2 church homes disagree doctrinally, debate and communicate over the note might want to be stated as for. this variety of “iron polishing iron” (Proverbs 27:17) is functional to all. in the experience that they disagree on form and type, besides the undeniable fact that, it truly is advantageous for them to proceed to be separate. This separation, although, does no longer develop the responsibility Christians might want to love one yet another (a million John 4:11-12) and finally be united as one in Christ (John 17:21-22).
