My neapolitan mastiff is constantly scratching, licking himself and biting on his nails. I can't sleep sometimes because its loud and constant. My next step after "yahoo answers" is the vet. But until then, any remedies how to make him stop? I have another (brother) that doesn't do any of the mentioned things.

My dog did that constantly and it turned out that she had fungus on her feet. I had to treat her feet every second day with a special shampoo. Its a long process.
