I own a farm and we butcher beef and pork every fall. I vacuum wrap it and it last no problem through to the next fall! Make sure your freezer is big enough to handle the volume! Maintain 0 or -10F! Over stuffing a small freezer doesn't allow for proper air circulation which ultimately leads to spoilage! Also, make sure you are buying from a reliable source because some of these deals aren't as sweet as they sound otherwise! Every business has it's parasites if you know what I mean!

Depends on the cut of the beef. Steaks, roast and stew meat are safe for 6-12 months if frozen properly. Ground beef should be used within 3-4 months.
