there are lots of people who are diabetic and have tattoos. as long as you keep your diabetes under control and care for your tattoos properly there will be no problem. darren brass (from miami ink) has diabetes and he obviously has had no problem with having tattoos.

There should be no problems however, some diabetics suffer from increased skin sensitivity. If you have this problem, it's likely that you will experience more pain than a non-diabetic would.
If you would like a tattoo and you do suffer from this, you can buy a local anaesthetic cream from a chemist. Apply it to the area where you are having the tattoo approx. 30 minutes before the tattooist starts (check how long the tattoo will take, as the cream is only effective for 30 mins. max.).
Always choose a registered tattooist and check that they are happy to tattoo you - before you pay a deposit.

I'm diabetic and have four tattoos. I have never had a problem. Just make sure your A1C is good before you get the tattoo. You want to make sure you have the best chance of healing well. And do extra careful post tattoo care. If you don't heal well you risk infection and the tattoo not looking right once it heals. Also, just general tattoo advice, check the place out thoroughly before you go. Make sure they use one time use needles and the place is clean. Look at the artists previous work. Look for reviews online. Talk to the artist and make sure you get exactly what you want. If they get irritated with you, leave. It is your body and your tattoo that you will have to live with forever.

Depending on the severity of the diabetes will depend on whether or not you are a candidate for tattooing. As you know, healing can be compromised with diabetics. Those who already are suffering from circulatory problems in the lower extremeties, for instance, should not get ankle or foot tattooing.
Other than that, most do not seem to have issues. It is good to know that the stress from the tattooing process will likely cause you to use up more insulin so you will need to be sure to eat before you are tattooed and to bring an appropriate snack. Check your blood sugar just prior and adjust as you normally would.
It is generally advised to check with your doctor.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I am a diabetic can assure you that tattoos are no more dangerous for us than for non-diabetics. The risk is the same as for having an operation so go to a reputable tattooist and make sure that all of their needles are sterile.

Have been Type 1 diabetic for 20 + years, have 3 tattoos and have no ill effects from them, only thing that influnences diabetes is blood sugar, keep it controlled and you'll be fine. Get your tattoo and enjoy it ( unless you hate needles!!)
