The best city would have to have:
Agreeable weather all year round, no snow, not too hot, not too cold.
Abundance and diversity of food and safe water. (Large Asian, Italian, Mexican, etc communities for diversity).
Available Infrastructure (roads, major sea port, air port and ground transportation, etc)
Accommodations and medical services.
Speaks your language (English)
Uses your currency (Dollar)
Tolerant government = Most freedoms of personal liberty..
Only city that meets all these criteria is San Francisco.
