I went to my doctor, he put me on medication but said it would take a bit to work. I had another one last night before I started the meds. Supposed to get an MRI today & EEG on Friday. I do have a brain tumor, but we don't know if that's causing it or not.

If I have another one, should I go to the ER?

if you have another seizure i would contact your doctor as he may need to up your medication. As for the tumour,it may be the cause of the seizures.Obviously it's putting pressure on your brain and it's hitting some nerves. My brother had multiple brain tumours which caused seizures but thankfully he was mostly in bed sleeping when he had them,my thoughts are with you and your family.

If you are under a doctor's care, then you should definitely tell him that you have had this seizure, he may want you to go into the hospital and have the MRI and EEG done as an inpatient rather than an out patient, but I would let him know.

Especially if you have a brain tumor.

Most definitely go to the ER if you have another one. There are different types of seizures, and the next one might be worse. Some forms of seizures can cause confusion and brain damage if prolonged, and may need immediate medications to stop them. It's best to be put on an EEG as soon as possible so they know exactly what's causing them and how to treat you.

I really hope you get better soon!
