That's an unfair generalisation - where are you visiting in the UK? there are plenty of places where people are nice, friendly and polite.

That's a bit of a generalisation I think. It really depends where in the UK. Where I live in the Cotswolds it is nice. I love England & I think there are far worse places to live in the world. People just moan all the time & see the bad in everything. I have only been to Singapore airport for 6 hours, so I can't really comment on people from Singapore, but I don't believe there is no crime at all.

Because they are two wildly different cultures.
It is the basic clash between Collectivism and Individualism. ASEAN cultures in general believe in the idea of contributing to the whole and being part of the group which is the most prized element, while Western cultures believe that the individual is the most important element, even more important than the group. Obviously, this is talking in broad strokes, and there are exceptions on both sides.
Personally, I get along MUCH better with Singaporeans.

In the big cities most of the people have lost their national pride due to the influx of illegal and legal immigrants, they see these people commit murder rape and are let away with it, if anyone dares speak out against a legal or illegal immigrant they will feel the full force of the law,if you are a victim no one will get involved A.S.B.Os are a prize for the uneducated yobos
Britain has high unemployment, a lot of people see that it is in decline whereas in Singapore they have very little of these problems, it would be interesting to find out how many immigrants legal and illegal Singapore has compared to the U.K

They are only friendly and polite to get your holiday dollar, and if the parts of the UK you visit are all crime and hoodies you need to get out more, out of the cities.

because the government in Singapore have the right idea about crime. EG:-
unlawful possession of a firearm - life in prison, no parole
firing unlawful firearm (irrespective of if it hits somebody) - death by hanging
drug possession - death by hanging
spitting in street / littering - fine equivalent to around £100
murder - death by hanging
Prisons which are places of punishment
Police who put the human rights of victims first
The death penalty
Henceforth everyone is a nice, polite law abiding citizen

That's an easy one. There are rules in Singapore and ther're forced. The UK has rules but are afraid to enforce them.
