yes other people make worcester sauce.... there is also a veggie version as worcester sauce has anchovies in it

Lea and Perrins made the original Worcester sauce , yes other companies make it like "Frenches" you could do a search I guess. I always liked the brown paper wrapping that Lea and Perrins uses too.

Lea and Perrins is the only company making authentic WORCESTERSHIRE Sauce.

I know I bought an economy bottle once in Gateway supermarket and it was half the price and twice as big and tasted the same. But there is no Gateways now and I certainly don't see different bottles whenever I go to buy one myself, but, perhaps the place to look would be a bulk buying wholesellers like Bookers or Makro.

Well I make a home made one, and all my friends want a new bottle when they finnish with it. I used to buy L & P but this stuff is soooo good I wish I could market it.

No, you can buy a store brand generic worcestershire sauce. I bought some the other day. I think it was Kroger brand.
