Well she is prolly going to have a fair idea in the first place, the best way is to kinda break it to her gently, try by saying I love you and some day I would love to have you as my wife, let that soak in fior a while and then when the time is right pop the question with the ring, on one knee in some place romantic to the two of you and see how you go, awwwwwwwww good luck *hugs*

I think that the best way to tell a woman that you want to eventually spend the rest of your life with her is to take her to a lovely place - not a restaurant, not by inviting her for dinner (that's well-worn;)) Take her to something different. Leeds Castle next to Maidstone, Kent will do just fine....go to www.leeds-castle.com and have a look at the place...I took my girlfriend once in there and after that she started to speak about future and babies by herself.... :) i think that you'll be surprised how that place is affecting women.....Hope this will help

Dont you watch tv??
1. Buy gorgous ring in right size,
2. take the lady out somewhere to put her at wease and a place where she can see how fantastic you are (like saying "heres a taster of whats to come")
3. at a quiet moment where you are alone, get down on one knee- knite in shining armour style,
4. Get the box with the ring inside out of your breast pocket (closest pocket to your heart)
5. give a short speach- no longet than 60 seconds short- about how fantastic you feel she is,/ how you feel so in love with her/ how youn feel spending your lives togwether forever would be the most perfect thing in your life- and that you will be able to create a beautiful relationship together...
6. ask : "so I would like to ask you"
(open ring box)
"will you marry me"
7. if un expected, she may need time to think, if she says yes immediatley, wrap your arms around her and feel very very happy!!

Dont do the norm, it will mean alot to her when she tells someone the story. It would be really cool if you could get a bill board that is asking her to marry you. everyone in town would be talking about it.

Go down on your knee and make sure you haven't got holes in your socks. Don't assume she is going to say yes - ask "Will you marry me?" If you can afford it a large diamond ring adds to the occasion and don't forget to lend her a pair of welding goggles to view it with

you know... my, now son-in-law was quite original. My daughter had planned a series of things to do for his birthday...
He is very laid back... She is the scheduling queen. (she's due to deliver any day now, and we're all waiting for the memo..lol)
Anyway.. one event was running late, so she was rushing him out, telling him that they were going to be late for the next "event" ... He told her not to worry about it.. She said.. but I want your birthday to be special... He said I've got the only thing I want for my birthday right here.. and he reached into his pocket for her ring.... he said the only thing missing from it being perfect is you. Marry me?
She called us from the car.. she was crying so hard I thought she had had an accident.. I heard him in the back ground and said to put him on the phone.. and he told me that she had said yes.....then I said...I WANT DETAILS!!!!!!!

Ask her out to dinner and make the proposal. Remember she may not be interested in marrying you so you should say it in such a way that she will understand she has the option to refuse without hurting you..
