Don't worry for sleep. With increasing age sleep is reduced. walk in the afternoon and in the evening also. Do not take much tea/cigarretes. Drink more water. Antibiotics have nothing to do with sleep; the same must have been prescribed by a qualified doctor.

I have been suffering from post partum depression for the past one year when I gave birth to a baby boy. I couldn't stop thinking about how my husband loves him more than me and how things might be better if he wasn't born at all. Thus, I stayed away from him because I knew that I might do something I will regret for the rest of my life.
Almost instantly I went to a therapist and convince them that I need help. Among other things, I've tried herbal supplements and other book to treat depression but nothing works like the Depression Free Method. So now I'm proud to say I'm one of the happiest mother in the world. My husband loves us both very much and I thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us.

Depression is one of the main causes for insomnia. Insomnia is not just having trouble asleep, but maintaining sleep. So you waking up at 5-6am and not being able to go back could be a sign of your depression. I would check with your physician that prescribed you the Fluoxetine to see about a sleep aid for just a week or so. B/c if you are depressed and sleep deprived it makes you depression, anxiety, stress that much worse.

Could be, or it could be that you're body has had enough sleep for now. The trick with depression is not to dwell on things like this, if you are finished sleeping, then get up and do something constructive, have a cup of tea, a cup of warm milk or maybe enjoy a hot shower. You may feel after your done that you want to go back to bed and sleep fo a bit, so go for it. The thing you have done here is turned what you consider to be a negative issue, into a positive one which will affect how the rest of our day will go. Good luck to you!

I'm not too sure on the medication side of things. BUT when i can't get to sleep (which is often cause i think about crap that happened 10 years ago to yesterday), i picture a wand (like harry potter's wand) and write out 154 in flames and i count backwards from their writting out each number i only get up to 130 or some bad times around the 90 mark but it always works!

dont know why your on antibiotics for depression/ if your over 25-30 and less than 5o panic tacks are treatable there are several meds that are helpful for short time but the real key is to transfer hat energy to a activity so that you dont have that feeling of death.
