"And Jehovah God proceeded to form the man out of dust from the ground and to blow into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul." - Genesis 2:7
A man is a soul.
"The soul that is sinning—it itself will die." - Ezekiel 18:4
We're not immortal. There's nothing in us that survives after death.
"In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return.” - Genesis 3:19
What was Adam before he was created? Dust. Where did he go after he died? To dust.
Where was Adam before he existed? Nowhere. Where did he go after he ceased to exist? Nowhere. He just decomposed.

I believe in it. My father was a very hard person and he never had time to really have a relationship with Christ. I prayed that he would be saved ever since I was a little girl. Well, my dad was in the hospital and passed away. They took him to the morgue and told us that he passed away. After about 20 minutes,( I was praying, asking God to give my dad another chance to accept him, ) the guy in the morgue saw my dad pull the sheet off of his face and ask what the h*ll was going on. They took him back to ER and rehooked him up to all of the machines. When I told my dad that he was dead for 20 minutes or more, and what was it like. He did NOT want to talk about it! He just said "That was something else!" I asked him if he wanted to give his life to Christ and he said YES! He had gone to the gate of hell and saw what was there and he knew that he needed Jesus to save him. Then he died eight days later, because he did not have any blood and air going to his body for the 20 minutes that he was dead and his body and organs were rotton and caused his second death. But at least I know he died a saved man. If you want to read about life after death, there is a book written by a Dr. it is called " Beyond Deaths Door" The Dr. was an athiest until he did this book. The book is all research about people having life after death experiences. Everyone, all over the earth has life after death experiences , so there must be something to it.

I Don't think about life after death. Dead is dead. Life is life. It doesn't come in that order. Death is after life not the other way around. I thank maybe you are mixed up a little. Are you speaking of your life after the death of another person. Well it goes on. We find it tragic sometimes but generally we manage to get through the difficulty.

I try not to think about life after death. I think your time alive will be better spent on how to make your life better and worry about what's going to happen after death when you actually die.

People have been dying as long as people have been living. No one knows for sure what happens after death, if anything, but a belief system is not going to change what nature has been doing for billions of years. No worries.

This universe is made of energy,so everything in this earth is made of quarts and electrons. We are part of the energy. The summation of all energy in this universe is ZERO. Now energy can neither be created nor be destroyed it only gets transformed to a different form. When a person or animal or a living matter dies, the energy gets transformed to a different form of energy. So it is natural that your energy will be there but in a different form or matter.

Well you don't say which part you are talking about, but I believe it is possible only if God resurrects you, and he promises to get rid of death altogether and remove all sorrow from the human family(Revelation21:4)but if you are talking about dying and your soul living on, No, the Bible does not agree with that view, the Bible says that the soul dies with you if you die(Jeremiah2:34 ;Leviticus7:18; Ezekiel18:4) I believe what the Bible says is true.

Without the concept of an ultimate Judgment Day, it is difficult to come up with a coherent reason for morality that actually influences the majority of people.

"What would you do that you otherwise would not do if you could be invisible, and you KNEW you would never get caught, no one would ever know about it, and there were NO negative consequences?"
