In many French African countries French is spoken even in rural communities? Why did the English colonisers not have similar success in forcing their language upon the local poeple?

I think that in East Africa a great deal of this has to do with the widespread use of Swahili as a lingua franca and the willingness of the British colonisers to use it too.

because is much easy speak Latin base linguist than English that pronounces the vocal different that the rest of the wold
