I agree with plenum222, you either accept the facts or you don't.
Fact: global warming is a lie.
Fact: global warming can not be effected by man
Fact: Algore is an idiot, trying to curry political favor through fear.
Fact: Algore's carbon offsets he buys are from a company he owns and they only sell the to him hence forth, a scam.

Global warming isn't a question of "belief".
Either you accept the facts, or you don't, or better yet, you question them - which is perfectly o.k.
I do object to framing any question in terms of "faith" - except when addressing issues relating to religion.
Considering that much of the global warming issue is a question of reliable scientific research and comparative climate data that goes back well over a hundred years, the deeper question you should be asking is -
"Do you believe in mathematics?"
"Do you believe that 5 times 5 equals 25?"
"Do you believe in Science?"
"Do you believe in computers?"
Duh....
-----------------------------
Lastly, Al Gore might be an idiot to you, but the issue of Global Warming is not an idiotic topic at all...
Ask the Inuits who have recently filed suit against the United States for failing to limit greenhouse gases - and a legal challenge that other countries are considering. Or closer perhaps to your home, talk to a park ranger at Glacier National Park located on the border between Idaho and Canada.
I did.

Yes, over the past 100 years or so the planet is warming. However, the cause is the question. Correlation does not mean causation.
Over the past 100 years CO2 emissions have increased. Over the past 100 years pirates have declined. Do we need more pirates?
While that example is ridiculous it proves my point about statistics.
Actually, we really don't have a statistically significant sample of climate data to make any conclusion, nevermind approximations of the future. Is the "global" rise in temperature out of the normal variance? I put global in quotes because we don't have accurate global data measurement further back than 100 years or so. We only have point data from ice cores.

Yes.
Al Gore has nothing to do with the science of global warming.
There's a vast amount of scientific data that says it's real and it's us.
http://aip.org/history/climate/co2.htm
http://www.ipcc.ch/SPM2feb07.pdf
http://www.realclimate.org/
"there is a scientific consensus on the reality of anthropogenic climate change. Climate scientists have repeatedly tried to make this clear. It is time for the rest of us to listen."
http://www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/full/306/5702/1686
"the question of global warming was settled years ago for all but a few holdouts in the scientific community"
http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/news/nation/16620307.htm
The idea that 99% of the climatologists in the world are wrong, neglect obvious natural causes as possibilities, or fake the data to get money, or engaged in a massive environmentalist conspiracy, is not plausible.
The people below didn't get their information from Al Gore, they got their information from the best scientists in the world.
"The science of global warming is clear. We know enough to act now. We must act now."
James Rogers, CEO of Charlotte-based Duke Energy.
"Our nation has both an obligation and self-interest in facing head-on the serious environmental, economic and national security threat posed by global warming."
John McCain, Republican, Senator, Arizona
"These technologies will help us become better stewards of the environment - and they will help us to confront the serious challenge of global climate change."
President George Bush

Sorry but I can´t trust anythink having SUCH WEAK SOURCES
Very little references quoted. Do you get informations out of a hat ? Or journalists copying one from another what they don´t understand ?
Please cite a RELIABLE SOURCE followed by ANALYSIS and CRITICAL DISCUSSION.
A reliable source in:
- a reputable university
- statistical offices
- state agencies (not for all countries in the world)
- international agencies.
THANKS
