i think they might be bigger than the space for caryon. but if you check it in your other luggage it should work. since its DOT approved, noting should happen to it if its under the plane. but just to be safe i would wrap it in something before packing it, like a few pairs of clothes

Not sure which way you mean it but I think they count as hand luggage. If you mean wearing them abroad, I think it is mandatory throughout Europe, despite people thinking that it;s not.

I run a motorbike hire company in Greece with my husband and the amount of times people refuse a crash helmet is unbelievable, if you wear one in the UK why not in Greece!! There is a huge fine if you are caught without one, and the excuse that ''the locals don't bother wearing one, why should we'' is pathetic!! The locals also get fined, don't look at them as an example!!!

I would take your own as it may be better quality that one you wou;d get in another country.

Not sure if this helps or not!

I travel abroad quite often with a motorhome and scooter. I always carry my own crash helmet with me. Never tried taking one on a plane though. Would think it would have to be put in the hold with other luggage.

If they fit in your carry on luggage, is OK. but one would ask, why would you want to take a crash helmet abroad??

I wouldn't want them in my hand luggage as they are bulky but there is no rule against them

As far as I'm aware there are none. I've certainly never encountered any problems.
