I have recently split up with my girlfriend of three years. At the moment, all I have is my work.

Before I met her I lived alone for seven years. I just used to go out to the pub.

I want to meet people, become more sociable, and make new friends.

What are my options?
What can I do?

Ask yourself what you like to do? maybe write a list of all the things you would like to get involved in. Also get a couple of friends together and book a holiday as you will have something to look forward to!

Good luck

Open the front door!

I couldn't restist it - hope it made you smile. ;o))

And don't forget to join a group or two - maybe take up running, all local clubs are interested in new faces however fit/unfit you might be.

Pozzouk.

I know it's a cliche, but try joining a social group (similar interest will give you a talking start point), evening clases (improve your mind as well as your social group), or go to Church...( If it's your sort of thing).

Best of luck.

Give yourself and your computer a vacation.
Don't go looking for a girlfriend, look for 'friends'.
You find a girlfriend, you'll just have her, your house, and work.
"... go out to the pub," Dude.
