You sound depressed. Look around you for people you usually depend on. Sometimes your family may be the best people to lend you support and provide unconditional love and concern. Look around you too, know that many people are like you as well, some are good looking, some are fat, some are tall, many are short. There is nothing wrong with you unless you already label yourself to be.
I would advise to seek professional help, cause someone could actually access and find out what is really wrong. They do not just provide miracle pills to chase away your issues. You are already here, seeking help. Therefore it shows you are looking for someone to communicate with.
You should also find another focus rather than thinking how lousy your life is. It is really up to you to make your life the life you want. Read a book (maybe an inspirational book), exercise, diet, find a hobbie. All these activities will not only give you focus and make each day worth an effort, you could also make new friends who are interested in the activity as well.
Don't give up on life. You have barely gone through a quarter of it. There is alot more to accomplish and experience. Learn to love yourself.

I think that you really are down. Can I just say that your life is not worthless...and you have plenty to offer the world. My advice to you is get up, get dressed, get a copy of Dr Phils Self Matters, start walking everyday, join a club and start to regain your life. You will never achieve the things you talk about if you stay in bed all day. The most important thing to remember is that the only person's opinion of you that counts...is yours! I know that it may be easier said than done but you are going to need to use all the inner strength you have. Go and see a doctor if you think that will help...but you need to get up and set yourself realistic goals - day by day. Day 1 should include: getting up, going for a walk and doing something that you enjoy...perhaps think about getting a job...it is the best way to meet people and you will keep yourself busy! :) I hope you feel better!

Yes you definitely have depression issues. I read your post and saw myself in so many ways. Go to www.bipolar.com look for the test to see if you are bipolar. Get in touch with your local mental health facility and get properly tested and counseling which the fee will be based on your income if you have no insurance. There is help out there and medications that will put you in balance. Don't wait 30 years like I did! Make today the first day of the rest of your life! Work on your self esteem, write down what you do like about yourself, eyes, hair, anything. Don't totally focus on what you don't like about yourself. You have to like yourself before anyone else can. Best of luck to you and get busy! God Bless

honey, If I were you, I would post this question on the questions part in psychology. Address to ALL PSYCHOLOGY PROFESSIONALS. But I would most definitely talk to some one. I have taken 4 semesters of Psychology and to me I would say you are depressed. You sound exactly the way I did about 6 months. I went to talk to someone and I don't feel great...But I do feel better than before. I can talk more instead of yelling all the time.

yes u r dear... ur self-esteem is too low, u dont have any self-respect at all... value urself and ur life girl! i think the only reason y u feel that way is bcoz of ur weight, i was also overweight myself before, and it really affected me. u know wat i did? i did some sports and started dieting... i became more active, and from 74kilos, im only 58kilos now... and mind you, its not easy and it really takes time before ull see the difference... more than a year before i achieved this weight... sad but true that in general pipol are superficial, that's y we tend to live with their expectations which is st*pid. change that attitude aswell, stop caring wat others might think. start believing in urself, u dont owe anyone for anything, so y bother right? im sure there's a lot in u dat u dont see or realize as of now coz of wat u think of urself... go and discover the real you! u might be the next miss universe! goodluck!

Join a gym with a pool. There many people like you doing water aerobics. Just do it, you will feel better than hurting yourself, you will see there are others in your same condition. The water is therapy for your soul.

Yes, sounds like depression.
I'm twenty, too. I know how you feel. I feel the same way at times.
But you have to deal with it honey, life is life. You make it the way you want it to be.
And if it's bad change it.
What else can we do?

Life is a choice. We can either chose to be depressed or not. or do what you can about it. Don't be so hard on yourself because everyone has problems that you do not know about. Good Luck, sweetie. Try the book "purpose driven life".

you may try to focus on a specific activity you like, such as dancing painting, listening to music....anything! when that thing makes you forget how miserable life can be...just for a moment.
