Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Imagine, if everyone abided by the above two commandments, there would be no war. No adultery, no murder, no stealing, etc.

God Bless You!!!

As others have stated. The god of the bible is not exactly an all loving hey lets all be friends in the hippy mystery van sort of fellow. Mostly people point to the OT but the NT one wasn't any better really. Man made religion, man made war. Religion is as easy to make out as a reason for war as anything else. Doesn't suprise me.

On the surface....the bible might seem like a great book of morality for people. Then you start really reading it. God drowns the entire world, sics a bear to tear two children to pieces for accidently seeing their uncle naked just to name to horrible things. Christianity I'm afraid theologicaly and historicaly is a poor role model for being morally upstanding.

Psalm 144:1
Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.

Amen!

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:36

WHEN the neighbour plants a bush on my side of the line.

You know, "we will be of good cheer, and things will be fine"
"until he plants a bush on my side of the line" kind of thing.
